Cardia Innovation is currently undertaking the process to restore MDSAP certification for the CarbonAid® and CarbonMini® CO₂ diffusers, with completion anticipated in the Fall of 2026. Upon successful restoration of regulatory requirements and applicable Health Canada licensing, Cardia Innovation intends to resume commercial distribution activities in Canada through its long-standing Canadian partner, Ebbtides Medical. At this time, the CarbonAid® and CarbonMini® diffusers are not commercially available for regular sale in Canada outside the applicable Health Canada Special Access Program pathways.

Cardia Innovation is preparing to re-enter the Canadian market. The MDSAP (Medical Device Single Audit Program) re-certification audit covering Health Canada requirements is scheduled for September 2026, supporting renewed Medical Device Licence activities for CarbonAid® and CarbonMini® in Canada.
